Midtown Modern Arts Festival
October 20th
The 2nd Annual Midtown Modern Arts Festival is scheduled to take place on the last Saturday in September, as a kick-off to Artober. The event will occur on 20th Street between J & K Streets. The FREE family-friendly street-fair is a celebration of the regions performing and visual arts. The festival will be covering a broad spectrum of creativity including Music, Dance, Visual Art and every medium in-between.
The goal of the festival is to create a venue for Midtown and the Sacramento region to show off what it does best, Art! We invite Art Organizations, Art Galleries, and Performing Art Groups of all sizes to participate in the event. 2011 performing artists include the Sacramento Ballet, The Sacramento Philharmonic, B Street Theatre, Capital Stage Company, The Sacramento Comedy Spot, Pamela Hayes Classical Ballet, the Harley White Jr. Orchestra and many more.
Why MMAF: In its first year the festival received rave reviews and it exceeded the producers proposed event attendance. Producers project that the 2012 events attendance will exceed last year’s 1000 attendees, providing an excellent marketing opportunity and exposure for your business or organization is.
