This year’s Sacramento Fashion Week will take place the week of February 21. Several events are planned for this years Fashion week including; two Designer Showcases featuring 13 designers, a training workshop at the International Academy of Design and Technology (IADT), a Fashion Forum hosted by Sacramento State Student Fashion Association (SFA), and of course multiple parties.

Sacramento Fashion Week, produced by Magnum Opus Enterprises, was launched in Spring 2006 as an answer to the call for a fashion show production that focused on the needs of the local fashion industry. Giving new and upcoming designers a platform to showcase their collection they normally would not be able to. It also provides the bridge between fashion designers, models, photographers, advertising agencies, make up and hair stylists in the beauty, fashion, and entertainment industry within the Sacramento Area.

Sacramento Fashion Week also focuses on giving back to the community through charitable contributions. This year marks the second year of a partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento and Northeastern California.
